5 K Finish

Running Accomplishments:

As of yet I have NONE!  Though I have done a few 5k, 3k, and 10k walks.

Short-Term Running Goals:

In the next two years I'd like to be able to get in 5 miles five days a week.  I'd like to participate in a 10K run and actually run the whole thing.  I'd also like to participate in the Danskin Triatholon.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Just working right now on the short term. I'd be happy right now to say I am a runner.


As far as personal facts, nothing too exciting about me. I am a mother of four kids, love to blog about them and my personal feelings, which you can find me at  I am married.  I have a degree in education but haven't done any professional teaching in a long time.

after almost a month off of my leg, torn my lateral ligament, I did a 1.5 on the eliptical, took me 18 minutes, did first mile in 10:54...then the other half in 8 minutes...movement is better than nothing right? then I did 30 minutes of circuit training.
