Running Accomplishments:

As of yet I have NONE!  Though I have done a few 5k, 3k, and 10k walks.

Short-Term Running Goals:

In the next two years I'd like to be able to get in 5 miles five days a week.  I'd like to participate in a 10K run and actually run the whole thing.  I'd also like to participate in the Danskin Triatholon.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Just working right now on the short term. I'd be happy right now to say I am a runner.

Personal:

As far as personal facts, nothing too exciting about me. I am a mother of four kids, love to blog about them and my personal feelings, which you can find me at 4kidsnodog.blogspot.com.  I am married.  I have a degree in education but haven't done any professional teaching in a long time.

Feeling tired and not wanting to do much this morning, I turned on the treadmill for 20 minutes doing the hill program. I figured I'd just walk a mile this morning.  Well the 20 minutes were up and I started the warm down, and well was feeling really warmed up so I jogged a miled...a whole mile.  For some reason the machine kept going and so did I.  So I got a little well a lot more in than I thought.  Hoping to average 2.5 miles everyday next week.

Good job little sis! Be sure to follow the 10% rule. Never add more than 10% more miles each week. We don't want to bust you all up :)

EXCELLENT run :) xoxoxoxoxo

You are already wiser than 90% of the runners out there, imo, because you are learning that "a bit" is better than "none" and that sometimes it can lead to a fine workout. Great week.

Good luck reaching your goals!
